Connection summary
A 5 MW connection to SSEN’s 33 kV network, at the site’s western boundary.
The point of connection is the 33 kV overhead line that runs along the western boundary, so the connection needs no significant off-site infrastructure.
Strichen has a countersigned Gate 2 variation agreement with SSEN under NESO’s reformed connections process. SSEN estimates the connection date as 31 October 2027. The connection depends on overhead line reinforcement that SSEN has already contracted under a separate project.
