What we collect and why
Enquiries. If you email or phone us about the sale, we receive your name, organisation, contact details and anything you tell us. We use this to answer your enquiry and, if you take part in the sale process, to manage non-disclosure agreements, data room access and bids. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in selling the project, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Website analytics. We use StatCounter to understand how visitors use the site. It records the pages you visit, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
This website uses the following cookies:
- Cookie consent: stores your choice from the cookie banner so we do not ask again on every page.
- Analytics: StatCounter cookies that distinguish returning visitors from new ones.
- Site administration: WordPress login cookies, set only for people who log in to manage the site.
You can change your cookie choice through the cookie banner, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Third-party services
To display the site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and Font Awesome, and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. These providers receive your IP address when your browser requests these files, and some of them may process data outside the UK.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell personal data. We share enquiry information only with people involved in running the sale, such as our legal and financial advisers, and with our IT and hosting providers who process it on our behalf.
How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to run the sale process and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
